💸Chance of happening

Every raffle has a minimum number of tickets to be sold.

Players drive the Chance of Happening.

The success of raffles depends on the participation of players. As players buy tickets, it will drive the chance of happening higher until the minimum number of tickets sold has been reached. Then, this raffle will change status from OPEN to HAPPENING, meaning a winner will be selected for this raffle.

Details

Each raffle starts with a chance of happening of 0%. The more tickets are bought, the more chance the raffle will happen.

The raffle needs to have a chance of happening of 100% for it to change its status from OPEN to HAPPENING (see Raffle status)

The chance of happening is directly linked to the current number of ticket sold and the minimum number of tickets to sell for this specific raffle. All that information is visible on the raffle page. If the chance of happening is below 100% by the time the raffle ends, user will be able to claim a full refund from the dashboard. In fact the raffle will change its status from OPEN to REFUND.
